2022 Year in Review

In 2022, Global PMI Partners achieved exceptional growth, nearly doubling our business from the previous year. We successfully supported our corporate and private equity clients in realizing their M&A objectives through our expert operational due diligence, post-merger integration and carve-out consulting services.

GPMIP’s global team of over 350 seasoned consultants helped a diverse set of clients tackle some of the most complex M&A challenges across nearly 2 dozen countries.

Client engagement highlights include:

  • Managing 60+ M&A integration projects across all industry sectors, with the full range of deal sizes and transaction types.
  • Managing nearly a dozen complex carve-out projects across multiple geographies.
  • Helping clients with numerous transformation and capability enhancement projects.
  • Supporting our clients with flexible on-demand expertise and capabilities across all business functions including Strategy, Operations, Communications, Sales, Marketing, Product, HR, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Technology, Finance & Accounting, Procurement, Business Services, & Legal.
  • Helping clients develop nearly a dozen repeatable acquisition playbooks to support their M&A integration and carve-out requirements.
  • Providing communications, culture and change management support to help our clients successfully navigate and manage the people side of M&A.


GPMIP region success highlights include:

  • In APAC, our China team led by Robert Yu helped a global IT services client with a robust communication program stabilize the local target team and minimize the business impact and disruption. The China team also proved to be an invaluable on the ground resource for our clients who could not travel due to China’s strict Covid guidelines.
  • Our UK region, led by Chris Charlton and Mark Bevan, managed dozens of complex acquisitions and carve-outs for clients across Europe, Americas and APAC, and made significant contributions to the main industry bodies, including the Confederation of British Industry and the British VC and Private Equity Association.
  • Our Nordics team, led by Michael Holm and Mikael Kruhsberg, managed several complex carve-out projects (sell- and buy-side) and developed and deployed three post-merger integration playbooks for high-growth PE portfolio companies and corporates across several different sectors.
  • Christophe Van Gampelaere’s Benelux/France/DACH team helped a client with the carve-out and integration of 15 entities across US, Europe, Middle East and Asia. They developed integration success assessment models for several clients and supported deals across Germany.
  • The United States and Canada team led by Scott Whitaker and Stefan Hofmeyer managed dozens of complex platform acquisitions and carve-outs for their PE clients, and helped several corporate clients build more robust internal integration capabilities & playbooks.
  • Globally, our proven methodology and successful track record for M&A projects was deployed in B2C, B2B, and B2B2C business models and sectors including manufacturing, software, business and professional services, energy, transportation, construction, retail, healthcare, e-commerce, consumer goods, fintech, technology and IT services, logistics, industrial services and many other sectors.
